I needed to step back and think about the Clan Affiliation List. The whole point of it was to highlight which clans had the most high-end keepers. Since I revived the Clan Affiliation List in May, I got carried away and started sorting the list strictly by Total Score.

Starting with this week, I will return to my original intent of putting the clan with the most keepers at the top of the Clan Affiliation List.

The next Clan Affiliation List has been uploaded.

Hell Slayer [H.S], a one-man clan popped into the Top 300 this week.

This week's Clan Affiliation List has been posted.

Diggaz with Attitude wasn't on the list back in January, but they are now in 4th place with 20 members and 1.7 million points. Brotherhood: Delta (#42 this week) is also crawling it's way up the list.

I also need to recognize a new 1-man clan: [Orc] Shadowclan. They debuted on this list last week, but I didn't notice him/her. Congratulations for jumping onto the Clan Affiliation List last week at #28!

Climbing the High Score list. Our Movers and Shakers list recognizes Keepers in the Top 300 that have risen 50 spots or more on the High Score List in the past week.

The distribution of top players remains relatively unchanged in this weeks Clan Affiliation List. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the Elite Imps own the top of the high score list. In the number 1 spot, Kayo can only be attacked by 3 non-EliteImps players. Even if they wanted to attack Kayo, the strongest Keeper only has half the creature score of Kayo. Unless there is a civil war within the Elite Imps, they will continue to sit atop the English server for a long time.

No Matter [NU], a single-member clan has climbed onto the Top 300 list as of this week.

Here we go, it's been nearly 6 months since the last Clan Affiliation report.

There are only about 10 clans worth looking at, every other clan contains less than 4 members. Things have changed over the past 6 months, but not by much. Diggaz With Attitude has emerged and grown to a formidabble clan since the beginning of the year.

An amazing 190 Keepers in the Top 300 are clan members, while 110 don't belong to any clan. These are the same numbers as January.

Next week, I should be able to bring back the Movers and Shakers list.

Welcome back to the Movers and Shakers list. Now that the holidays are over, I have more time to sit in front of my computer.

Making it into the Top 300 of the DignFight High Score List is an accomplishment. By the time you reach this point, you will already have developed your own style of playing. Some Keepers like to rise in ranks as quickly as possible, and this list recognizes them for their hard work.

This short list is made up of Keepers who have jumped 50 or more ranks in the high score list in the past week.

Here's the first Clan Affiliation List for 2008. I grab the scores of the Top 300 Keepers on the English server and group them into their respective clans. Since there are so many clans with the same number of members, I also totaled their scores and ranked the "same # of members" clans by highest score. For example: Dungeon Keeper 2 has 5 players in the Top 300, those 5 players have a combined total score of 394,185 points. This places Dungeon Keeper 2 below Under Construction and above The Last Legion.

Clan Affiliation List for 2008, week 1.

It's the holidays and preparing the Spells, Doors, and Traps posts is keeping me pretty busy. If I can keep up with the schedule (2 posts per day), I should be able to get all of the Spells, Doors, and Traps info posted before the end of the year.

After taking a look at the Clan Affiliation List and seeing that the list hasn't changed much since I started posting it, I'm going to tone it down and only post the list once a month. This will hopefully give me some time to do more work on a high score database that I've been thinking about and maybe even launch a companion site (don't hold your breath).

The Machiavelli seems to be one of the few clans that is making any progress on the Clan Affiliation List, they have increased the # of high-end players to 14. Most of the clans on the list look like they lose a member one week, then recruit a replacement the next week.

Clan Affiliation List for week 50.

This list shows the Top 300 Keepers of DignFight and which clans they come from.

I'm kind of impressed with the clans that have 1 member in the Top 300. They've been able to stay on the list, despite their small clan size (most of them have less than 6 members).

Reset: D Movie

It's all about the "D", digging like crazy. My dungeon looks like this:

  • Treasure Chamber 8x8
  • Chicken Farm 6x6
  • Sleeping Quarters 6x6
  • Training Room 9x9
  • Library 4x4
  • Workshop 2x2

That gives me 7 training spots (Training Room can provide up to 8) and I can train up to level 5 (beyond level 5 requires the Arena).

I have 15 total Imps, 6 are trained to level 5, 6 are at level 3, and the last 3 are in training. Current carrying capacity (with Burning Eye) is 1200 gold.

I cannot recruit Devilers yet. The plan is to get 8 training spots before completing the upgrades for Devilers.

Only 6 Keepers have attacked since November 23 and lost about 140 gold per attack. In contrast, my Imps bring back about 300 gold every 10 minutes. I have not recruited 12 combat creatures yet and I don't assign anybody for defense. At this point in the game, my creature are high enough that I don't look like a easy target.

Don't forget to keep an eye on the cost of your next room upgrade and the capacity of your Treasure Chamber. I hit my maximum capacity twice and wasted part of my digging results.

My training program will be as follows:

  • Train 3 Imps at a time to the maximum level available (so that I can keep 12 Imps digging)
  • My 8 Wizards will be training as high as possible. Not sure if I want to recruit 12 Wizards.
  • Shoot for the 8th training spot
  • After the 8th training spot, complete upgrades to recruit 12-24 Devilers
  • Train the Devilers as high as possible and start attacking with them.

After getting into the Top 100 with my main account, the biggest thing that I learned is that most players (but not all) are trying to rise in ranks, then worrying about defenses second. I decided to rise in rank first. For my main account, this means that sometimes, my defending creatures are 6 levels below my attacker. I basically have no chance of successfully defending and by the time I can train 6 levels to catch up, my attacker have upgraded also.

In lower ranks, you can ALWAYS gain more points to take you out of attack range of somebody. In the Top 100, you're stuck. If somebody realizes that you are an easy target, the only thing left to do is dump your low level creatures and hope that drops you out of attack range.

There are 3 Keepers near me that have creature point totals of 1950, the exact amount for 12 Imps. Unfortunately, I have not completed research for Evil Eye and all of them have 0 gold points.

Reset: Free Sapphires

What a dufus! I was playing on my main account and my Walkthrough account (they're on different servers) this weekend and I noticed the banner ads were displayed. Since I usually play with Burning Eye active on my main account, I clicked over to the premium page and activated it.

Well, this morning, my main account is showing banner ads again, so I checked my premiums page and Burning Eye was not active. I accidentally spent 15 free sapphires and activated Burning Eye on my walkthrough account. :( What a waste of 15 free sapphires!! I don't even have the required rooms to start my Arena yet. That means there's only enough free points for one Hammer of the Handyman. We will have to do some math and careful time management to make the most of the 10-day room discount.

Sorry about week 48. Something utterly unrelated happened and I forgot to grab the high score list on Friday. I forgot to do anything about it on Saturday. By the time Sunday rolled around, I just decided to wait until the upcoming Friday for week 49 stats.

This list shows the Top 300 Keepers of DignFight and which clans they come from.

There's not much shuffling going on, but the rankings have been changing a little. It would have to be from Keepers jumping clans (I did a few weeks ago).

184 of the Top 300 Keepers are clan members (61%)
116 of the Top 300 Keepers claim no clan affiliation (38%)

There are no new clans that posted a new player into the Top 300, but 4 clans dropped off the list: Honesty Before All, Keepers of Chaos, OBSYDIANOWE SZPONY (whatever the heck that's supposed to mean), and Trouble Makers.

Clan Affiliation List for Week 47

Not much movement this week and 4 of the Movers and Shakers were Keepers that were not in the Top 300 last week.

Vandel212 is the first Keeper to make 2 appearances on the list.

I'm still waiting for a few clans to merge...this list is getting a bit boring.

189 of the Top 300 Keepers are clan members (63%)
111 of the Top 300 Keepers claim no clan affiliation (37%)

The Mud Bloods debuted on the list, bringing 2 new Top 300 Keepers to the list since last week.

Rankings are taken on Friday mornings (last week was November 1, this week was November 9).

This list shows the Top 300 Keepers of DignFight and which clans they come from.

There are 732 clans as of today, 551 of them have only 1 member. I can't help but think that 551 Keepers wasted over 1 million gold to register their 1-man clans.

The top 3 remain in place for the 5th week in a row. I'm not even sure how many weeks those 3 have been there before I started keeping track of these stats.

188 of the Top 300 Keepers are clan members (63%)
112 of the Top 300 Keepers claim no clan affiliation (37%)

Creating the HTML table has become too much of a pain in the rear end, so I dropped the list into a Google Docs spreadsheet.

This post is a little out of sequence. Many of you are probably interested in the room requirements to recruit each creature type. That info is coming, in the mean time, drool over the stats of some of these DignFight units.

Currently, our Creature Info includes stats up to level 15 (15 is currently the max) and all the way up to the Iron Maiden. The majority of you will probably be struggling to get the 9x9 Guard Room for Black Riders. Have fun!
