How is it increasing coverage? For example I have 200 fields, and 100 coverage without wooden door. That's 50%. With 4 wooden doors what will happen? Is the 10% added to the 50% to make 60% or will it increase the actual coverage to 110 which would mean 55% coverage?
Is the extra coverage shown in the defense menu? Does this extra coverage counts when defensive extra hit % calculated?
Thanks for your answers in advance :).
And Merry Christmas!

The Wooden Gate (and all of the other doors) gives you a field coverage bonus. In your example, you say you have field coverage of 100 (or 50%).

4 Wooden Doors will provide a 10% field coverage bonus. That means that you get a 10% bonus of your 100 field coverage (or 10 fields).

100 coverage via creatures + 10 coverage via wooden gates = 110 (or 55% of 200)

Not a lot, but my creatures cover about 1200 fields in my 1300 field dungeon. A 10% bonus for me would be 120 fields, enough to get 100% coverage and a +15% combat bonus.

If you have already built 1 Wooden Gate, enable it (Creatures > Tinker > Manage Traps) then check your fiend coverage (Actions > Defend). You should be able to see your coverage number change a little.

I hope that makes sense.

My advice would be to skip the doors and research traps instead. Once you find a trap that you like, build multiples of it. "Stacking" traps does more damage to attackers and traps don't have a time limit (like spells). More damage makes it harder for attackers to profit from you.
